Miami Mike's story begins in the city of Hoboken. Born into a sports family where my dad was the head coach of the Hoboken PAL and the head official for all basketball games, I spent many nights throwing footballs, shooting free throws, and taking ground balls from all the older kids while the kids my age were fast asleep. I knew sports was my passion. It's all I enjoyed, like I do now thirty years later at Miami Mike's Sports Zone.

The doors opened in 2007 as Miami Mike's Sports Zone during the Dolphins-Chiefs preseason opener on August 14th. My childhood passion is now a reality for me and all my fans.

My early days at the Joe Namath Football Camp and playing in the Coconut Bowl in Miami Beach, the AAU Basketball camps, and all the long road trips for basketball games has made me want to create a great sports bar for all fans. And from all the success that I have achieved, it is still not enough. We will always continue to get bigger and better!
